I decided to cycle 1000 miles from Lands End to John o'Groats to raise money for the Help for Heroes Charity in memory of a good friend, Mark Hylands, who died very suddenly in October 2008 aged 43.

 

Mark was a great character and a good mate. He had served with the RAF Regiment before joining Essex Police and the H4H charity was close to his heart.
